BRING. IT. ON.
It is FINALLY starting to feel like winter around here! This storm turned up and dropped well over 12 inches on Valley of the Sun! It was a great day to stay home by fire. Our family’s favorite snow day activity is to make homemade tomato sauce and meatballs. What about yours?
Our drivers set out around 4 pm this evening to tackle the route. With such a massive storm, you can expect it to take at least a full 24-48 hours to clear. During the last storm, I noticed my phone didn’t ring at all, but Christian’s was blowing up. Let’s reverse that for this storm. Please reach out to me, Carey, if you have any questions. It’s pretty hard to drive and text when you’re in a car- it’s dang near impossible in a loader. Let’s make sure he comes home safe to those meatballs, and let me jump in and help you.
Stay warm, stay safe, and let it snow!!!
Update 12/08/25: Christian plowed overnight on Saturday & most of the day and night on Sunday. He finished up (Monday) this morning with the last few stragglers. If you still need a plow, give Carey a call. We currently have two trucks down (sigh, mountain life), so after clearing over 150 driveways, he’s a little tired and may have missed one or two.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Snow Storm November 29, 2025, 4 inches finally falls on Valley of the Sun!
Happiest of Thanksgivings to all of you! We hope that your holiday was spent reflecting on gratitude and basking in the love of your families. We have a lot to be thankful for this year, but especially for our FIRST PROPER SNOWFALL! Woohoo!
After an alarmingly dry and warm November (I ate lunch outside in Breck A WEEK AGO), we FINALLY got 4 inches last night in Valley of the Sun. Our drivers set out early this morning to get the route started, and with such dry and windy conditions today, you should all expect to be clear by this evening, just in time for whatever the mountain brings us tomorrow.
Being the first storm out, I just want to remind you of a few things-
Please don’t call or text Christian asking when he’s coming. We follow a consciously designed route to maximize efficiency and time management. No one jumps the line, because that disrupts the route for everyone else and it wastes precious time.
If you do have questions, please text me, Carey. I will do my best to get back to you quickly with as much information as possible.
Please don’t assume that just because we haven’t gotten to you yet, it means we are not coming. We have built our reputation for nearly a decade on being reliable, honest, and trustworthy. We will never take your money and leave you stranded (after all, we’re a plow company, not an airline). If you haven’t seen us yet, it’s just because we haven’t gotten to you yet. We will; don’t worry.
If you haven’t moved your cars yet, do so if possible. Our driver will wait, but only for 5 minutes before they have to move on. If you have renters, advise them likewise, as they will have to wait until the route is finished and our drivers can circle back before a second attempt can take place.
Shoveling is an additional service, reflected in your invoice. If you have not requested this service, it will not be done. If you are on the shoveling route, shoveling will take place after the driveways are all cleared. To schedule shoveling, please reach out to me, and I will schedule your shoveling service.
Thank you again for trusting us with your snow removal needs this winter. And remember: pray for snow!
