Driveway Refurbishment

Owning a home in the mountains is a dream come true- clean air, fresh water, amazing views… We feel you! But it’s also a huge responsibility that comes with many unforeseen expenses, the biggest of these being driveway design and maintenance. Whether you’re repairing and resurfacing your current driveway, or remodeling and redesigning an old driveway to bring it up to code (which allows emergency services such as ambulances and fire trucks to actually make it into your driveway), we can help you! New Driveway

Cutting a new driveway into a forest is something that many of us have a hard time picturing when we are staring at the beauty of our raw land. We will help you from start to finish, taking extra care to preserve as much of the natural beauty of the forest as possible and planning the design so as to consider your winter snow storage. Unlike our competitors, we will remove as much debris as possible and process the trees that we take down, so that you are left with a gorgeous view and no mess to clean up. For an additional fee, we will also process the fallen trees down to firewood, which always comes in handy.

Culverts

As the snow melts in the Spring, oftentimes inadequate, timeworn culverts will leave the bottom of your driveway a mess- deep puddles, ruts, and eroded rode base. Over time, heavy winter snow and wear and tear from the grader can destroy your culvert. Luckily, we can help with that too! In just a couple of days, we can take your old culvert and give it the facelift it so badly needs, making Springtime much more enjoyable for you and your car (and your neighbors too!).

Foundations

A new build doesn’t mean you buy the land and plop a house on it. There are several steps that have to come first before you start thinking about where to put your couch. First and foremost of these is digging a good foundation. We are insured and ready to help you cross that off your list. Just like with our driveways, we will haul off as much debris as possible and process any felled trees down into firewood for you, leaving you with a site that is ready to be made into a home.

Retaining Walls

Erosion is simply a part of life when you live at 11,000 feet. The forest naturally drops debris to help combat the effects of wind, rain, and heavy snowmelt, but it’s not foolproof. One great way to help maintain the integrity of your property is to add retaining walls to help shore up the land around your home and driveway. We design and build beautiful, natural-looking retaining walls, using local materials to help preserve the aesthetic of life in Pike National Forest.

Miscellaneous Excavation

Got a small job that needs doing, but don’t want to break your back digging with a shovel in the Rocky Mountains? Give us a call and we can help you out with that too! From trenches to gardens to sand pits for the little ones, we can complete a myriad of excavation jobs in as little as one day (weather permitting) that can allow you to lighten your own load of to do’s around the house.
